SayPro stands for Say Progress, and it focuses on personal growth, community upliftment, and social change. The programme is built around the core belief that everyone deserves an opportunity to succeed, regardless of background or socio-economic status.

    Key Features:

    1. Inclusivity:
      • Open to youth and adults (16+), including marginalized and vulnerable populations.
      • Provides a safe space where participants are respected and supported.
    2. Empowerment Through Education and Skills:
      • Offers workshops, vocational training, digital literacy, life skills, and career guidance.
      • Supports youth transition from school to work or entrepreneurship.

    SayPro’s Health Care Wellness Programme places a strong focus on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Awareness, prevention, and response, while integrating broader health services to support the holistic wellbeing of individuals and communities.

    1. Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Awareness & Response

    Objective:
    To raise awareness about GBV, empower survivors, prevent violence, and provide access to appropriate support services.

    Components:

    • Awareness Campaigns:
      • Community dialogues, school visits, radio talks, and social media campaigns to challenge harmful gender norms.
      • Education on recognizing various forms of GBV (physical, emotional, sexual, economic, etc.).
    • Workshops and Training:
      • Equips participants with knowledge on rights, legal processes, and how to seek help.
      • Trains community members and frontline workers on GBV identification and support.
    • Survivor Support Services:
      • Referrals to legal aid, shelters, counselling, and medical support.
      • Confidential, trauma-informed care and case management.

      • Promotes positive role modelling and allyship.

    2. Health Services and Wellness Support

      • HIV testing and counselling (HTS), TB screening, blood pressure and diabetes checks.
      • Sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning and STI management.
    • Mental Health Support:
      • Basic mental health awareness, de-stigmatization, and counselling services.

    • Health Education and Awareness:
      • Information sessions on nutrition, hygiene, substance abuse, and chronic illness management.
